We really need to think about all the expensive, advertising that
the ABM companies promote every day. Who really pays for
the tote bags and diaper bags and "free " ABM and the
gifts that are on all the postpartum floors throughout North
America (except in the Baby Friendly Hospitals , Congratulations
to all involved ) ? It sounds like the government buys a lot of
the stuff in the U.S. for the WIC programs, which means that
the taxpayers are ultimately paying for it.

In Canada government doesn't give out "free " formula ( as far
as I know ) so who is buying the formula which pays for all the
promotion ? It is the mothers who can least afford the high
prices who are stuck with all the costs. Let us think about all
the immigrant women, the poor single moms, the women
with little or no support at home, who have not managed to
get breastfeeding going. They are the ones paying for the
modified cows milk, and the modified soy and all of the
promotional materials for the ABM companies.
