Okay,
Those of you who are concerned about ibruprofen use and milk supply:
I am the type of person that experiences severe pain during menses.
Without 600-800 milligrams of Ibruprofen every 5-6 hours, I would be
writhing in pain. I took the drug for the first two days of every period
while breastfeeding both my sons, and unfortunately, in both cases my cycle
returned 3 months post-partum despite extensive nighttime nursing. Baby one
weaned too early at 18 months and baby two weaned at 4 1/2 years. Through
all that time, I never had problems with milk supply.
