A mother called with a very gassy baby--much pain and crying. She has many
allergies herself--food, airborne, contact, etc. She has found that if she
eats any green vegetables her baby's stools turn green and baby is in pain.
In my wisdom I assured her that the color green wasn't being transferred
through the milk. Mom had been vegetarian but in eliminating almost all
vegetables she had had to include some chicken and fish. When she eats
grains (not wheat) and those meats along with potatoes baby is peaceful.
Have any of you had experience of a baby's being sensitive to a wide range
of vegetables, particularly green ones?
