  get a copy of the booklet that medela has just brought to the states... it
is written by an oral surgeon and an ibclc....

   it supports bf after surgery and comments that children who return to the
breast need less sedation.

   i would imagiine that both writeres are availble to discuss what and why
they do what they do.
