Enoxaparin is a low molecular weight heparin. Like "big" heparin, it is still probably too big to get into the milk, and like "big" heparin, it is not absorbed from the gi tract. Thus, it is safe for breastfeeding mothers. Jack Newman, MD, FRCPC
