When the Ross front man was visiting, he also left a sample of the Ross/White
River pump.  It is awkward (you have to pull the cylinder straight up to
create the suction).  The piston pulls right out of the cylinder if you are
not careful.  It reminds me of a cross between the old Evenflo manual pump
and a cylinder (Kaneson) pump upside down.  The soft shield pinches down on
the nipple.  Included in the sales packet was an advertising blurb for White
River pumps.  It reminds me a lot of the Ross pumps they had about 14 or 15
years ago.
