Go, Jay, Go...and a big hurumph too! And to that, I would add, do we shy
away from saying that murder is wrong because we are afraid of insulting
would-be murderers? Yes, I'm taking this to the extreme, but sometimes you
have to do that to make your point. For those of you who have not heard
the tapes or were not present, there is a fabulous tape of the LLL USWD
conference on "The Infant Feeding Decisionmaking Process," by Kathy
Dettwyler and Kathy Liles (session C204). IMHO it's THE best presentation
on why "not making moms feel guilty" is a bad excuse to not promote bf.
When I start to get down about the state of bf, I pop in this tape. Thanks
