I agree with Becky that it is logical to reuse expressed brestmilk if
its within a few hours. This brings another question to mind: There
seem to be many differences of opinion about the necessity to sterilize
botttles, equiptment, etc.. when expressing, storing and feeding ebm?
I'd be interested in your opinions of what type of sterilizing is
adequate. Boiling in water for 5 minutes (here in Israel where the
water is very "hard" this leaves an ugly mineral residue on the
bottles), pouring boiling water over the thoroughly cleaned bottles,
nipples, etc? , just washing thoroughly in very hot soapy water..,
sterilization tablets?
