FWIW with regards to mild supply and a history of anorexia/bulimia. . .
When I was in high school I was hospitalized for anorexia and bulimia. .
.that was at age 17. . .I have twins now that were born when I was 22. .
.they've been exclusively breastfed. . .no problems with supply. . .as a
matter of fact I always had more than enough.
From what I understand, supply is effected if the woman is still actively
participating in her disorder. . .I could believe that relapse may be
higher with childbirth (heck it took my husband half my pregnancy to
convince me that I wasn't making myself purge -- talk about guilt) which
may have something to do with it. Any studies out there?
Have you thought about contacting ANAD (Anorexia Nervosa and Associated
Disorders) or BASH (Bulimics/Anorexics Self Help I think is what it stands
for. . .) they may have more information for you.
