The September 1997 issue of JHL has INCORRECT information in it.  Please
note what follows:

The Revised edition of Breastfeeding and Human Lactation, by Jan Riordan
and Kathleen Auerbach will NOT be available in January 1998.  Although this
book is currently being revised, a publication date has *not yet been
determined.* Individuals planning to purchase this book for use in their
clinical practices and/or to study for the 1998 IBLCE-administered
certification exam should plan to purchase the CURRENT edition.

The Pocket Guide, which accompanies BHL, will NOT be available in REVISED
form in January 1998.  Again, no date of availability for a revision has
been identified.

Since not all persons who receive JHL are on LACTNET, Jan and I would
greatly appreciate if each of you who reads this message will share it with
your friends who are not yet in cyberspace.  Thank you.
