The lastest shtick in formula advertising in Israel is promoting it as
brain food. Baby will turn into a Bill Gates or Einstein when fed this
stuff. Materna started it, now Similac has joined the bandwagon. My
husband cut out full page ads from the newspaper showing college
students holding bottles of ABM.

"Who's really Mom's genius? I was raised on formula and here is my
S.A.T. score - 761. When I was a little baby, my mother knew how to
select the best food so I can grow and develop... Similac- most
recommended by pediatricians in the United States."

Have there been "genius" campaigns in other countries as well? This is
getting pretty low in the bag of dirty tricks.
