Yes this is a common advertising tactic here in the USA , all of the
major formula companies do it and it is indeed quite nauseating.
I think that a lot of the names for the list come from when mom gets a
packet of info from her doctors office while she is pregnant and she
fills out a card and mails it in , once your on one mailing list for
anything related to having a baby, you got on tons of them. MMMMMMMmmm ,
might be interesting for me to fill out a single card and send it in and
see how many "Baby" elated advertisements I get :) WOuld be an
interesting experiment..... :) :) :)
