Patricia:  The TB test is the infiltration under the skin of a tiny amount
of a protein (no live bacteria) to elicit a local reaction in anyone who
has been exposed to TB.  There couldn't be any real risk with
breastfeeding.  Remember, vaccinations (even live ones) are not
contraindicated in breastfeeding.  Hope this helps.  Alicia Dermer, MD,
