        I have not heard this and would not advise anyone to.  Cabbage is a
very useful substance to HALT milk production.  Many of my Moms have used it
and gotten wonderful results reducing engorgement and deminishing
oversupply.  Cabbage has been used for years to dry up the milk supply of a
woman whose child was still-born.  This may have been what this person read
quickly and misunderstood.  If I'm wrong on this one, please correct me, but
CABBAGE IS A DRYING AGENT.  Do not use to induce lactation.
