It is true that the FDA no longer approves the use of Parlodel for the
suppression of lactation, but the drug has not been discontinued for other
uses.  What has always bothered me about the continued misuse of this drug is
that women are not made aware of the non-FDA status and they are not
counseled on the risks associated with this drug.  All of the women that I
have had contact with that told me they were taking this drug, were shocked
when I informed them that it was not FDA approved for the suppression of
lactation.
