Enoxaparin is a low molecular weight heparin ( 2000-8000 daltons) obtained
by depolymerization of porcine heparin.
Elimination half-life is 4.5-12 hours.
Peptides of this size would be unlikely to penetrate mature milk. Further,
its oral bioavailability is minimal to nil.
Although we have no data on its transfer to human milk, I would seriously
doubt any would transfer, or be orally bioavailable to the infant.
