Dear Angie,
Don't remember the specifics of your previous post, but have a few
questions/comments. The mom says that she is doing "great" but is still
bothered by generalized breast pain (yes, this could definitely be the
yeast within the ducts) - so maybe she is not doing great, just better
than before. What supplements exactly is she taking? Are they perhaps
alleviating some of the problem, but not really eliminating the yeast
from the breast? Has the mother been treated with anything else, such as
Diflucan? Moms often feel great after a few days of antibiotics for
mastitis, but unless the full course of drug is taken and the underlying
causes of the problem are determined, the mom will not feel great for
very long. Stay with this one. Don't think you are quite out of the
woods yet.
