Our local pharmacy will mix up  a solution of .5 to 1 % Gentian Violet in
WATER, at my request.  I shared Jack Newman MD's handouts with the
pharmacist, explained the use, and they keep it on hand for moms who need it
for short term and limited use.  As Jack has said, if it doesn't work in
three days, it isn't thrush.
