I am not (now) a subscriber to REDBOOK. When I did subscribe, I felt it
was less a magazine for families and one more for very young marrieds. (so
much for my orientation and what I perceived to be theirs!) :-)
Anyway, my take on the cover is that is was especially nice because you
could tell the baby was NOT a newborn! Is this a new thought--that babies
older than newborn breastfeed?! Anyway, for all of you who are subscribers
and who write to Redbook, please congratulate them on recognizing that
breastfeeding occurs longer than a few weeks! I thought the cover art was
lovely, not at all likely to offend. It had everything--including just
enough cleavage to encourage people to read inside the cover to find out
what was REALLY going on in that picture! :-)
