THE CHANCE OF GETTING HIV FROM BREASTFEEDING FROM AN HIV INFECTED MOTHER IS
PREDICTED TO BE 1 OUT OF 3. THE CHANCES OF DYING FROM BEING BOTTLED IN A
THIRD WORLD COUNTRY ARE 2.9 OUT OF 3.
WHY IS IT BETTER TO DIE OF FORMULA-FEEDING THAN TO DIE OF HIV??
>What if formula companies agreed to provide "ready to feed" ABM for babies of
>HIV positive mothers until they were ready for the cup and food?
THEY WOULD ALSO HAVE TO AGREE TO PROVIDE IMMUNIZATIONS, ANTIBIOTICS, MALARIA
PROPHYLAXIS, ANTI-PARASITIC MEDICINE, AND HOSPITALIZATION COSTS. BREAST
MILK AIN'T JUST FOOD, FOLKS!!! IT'S POWERFUL MEDICINE.
