As I posted yesterday, I've been listening to many tapes from the ILCA
conference. My questions are about the lecture on the Lactational Amenorhea
Method (LAM) which some of you probably attended. I am very excited about
this method because I think it could be an incentive for some of our
moms to bf, or bf longer. (LAM says that if mom has not yet had a vaginal
bleed, has a baby under 6 months old, and is exclusively bf, then she is
protected against pregnancy.) I was wondering if anyone out there in
lactnet land has been teaching this method. I often get asked questions
about bf as birth control--I think there'd be a lot of interest int in
this method! Also, if anyone has any written information, can you email
me on how to obtain a copy.
TIA,
Julie in Befdford, MA
