The active ingredient in Claritin is loratadine.

I have a Co-Leader who is helping a mom who is taking synthroid
(levothyroxine sodium) 225 mcg/day.  Her baby has been very fussy and the
mother is concerned that it is related to the medication.  I have searched
the Lactnet archives and found ample info regarding its compatibility, but
only one post questioning hyperactivity related to it.  I didn't see
responses to that post.  Our "keeper of Hale's" is out of town right now,
so we don't have that resource available.  Any information would be greatly
appreciated.  I believe she said the baby was 4 months.
