Hi Lactnetters
First Thank-you to those with suggestions for the baby who kept tucking her
bottom lip in. I think the most reassurance is that her baby is OK. Mother
started wondering if the baby wasn't intelligent enough to learn, that there
may have been something wrong neurologically.

My next question is about a mother who is 3 months pregnant and has Polands
disease. I have never heard of it before. I do know that it has resulted in
R sided hyperplasia of the right pectoralis major muscle and breast. How
will this affect her breastfeeding? I have not met her but am presuming she
will have questions about breastfeeding as most of mothers in NZ choose to
breastfeed.
Thanks a lot
