Shawn,
Nerve damage should only affect the one breast, but since milk is
ejected in both breasts simultaneously, the mom could start all feedings
on the unaffected breast, or stimulate the unaffected nipple/areolar
junction while nursing on the affected breast. Otherwise, she could
nurse on one breast, but needs to be aware that there is less protection
from breast cancer in the unsuckled breast.
