Mom with persistent thrush called me. Treated it for 4 wks, gone for 2
wks., now back. I gave her the extensive suggestions which have appeared
recently on LN; she is beyond the easy stuff. This mom does not find
all that info, at once, overwhelming. Her MD gave her terconazole,
Terazol, topically for her very sore nips. Besides minimizing baby's
intake, any other suggestions for this med? (Nurse in ped's office said
to not nurse w/ it, but mom decided to continue bf).
I'm trying to learn all the abbreviations new to me. Some I've had fun
deciphering are IMHO-in my humble opinion; MIL-mother-in-law (and
variations on the theme, such as SIL, BIL); TIA-thanks in advance;
OALD-overactive let down; WRT-with regard to; bb-baby; BTW-by the way;
LN-Lactnet.
