The foam may be a reaction with sweat and soap not well rinsed, or
deoderant/powder/antiperspirant, or accessaory tissue which "leaks" without
benefit of an identifiable nipple. While we are considering accessory tissues,
has anyone seen tissue on back of a woman's scalp which became noticeable during
pregnancy and which looks EXACTLY like an accessory nipple. I have seen two in
the last year. No, I normally don't do scalp exams but always examine for
accessory tissue and explain why, which leads the moms to show me their "bumps".
They are instructed to show their dos, and include the bumps in their monthly
exams.
