While I am only one lowly subscriber to TIME magazine, I have cancelled my
subscription as a protest to the use of the bottle-baby photo. I did this
along with a detailed letter and multiple copies sent throughout the
company. They need to know that THEY WILL LOSE BUSINESS. And, we need to
"vote with our feet" or wallets as the case may be. Several of us have
done the same thing with our local PBS stations because of the continued
use of bottles on Seasame Street and Aurthur. I really like both TIME and
PBS, but I cannot in good conscience continue to send money to
organizations that promote bottle-feeding.
