Subject: low BS

Our policy is to feed babies with BS below 40%. Thanks Kathy

My husband (MD BMATH) checked with the local laboratory today. They were
unable to identify what 40% blood sugar means. I wonder if you are in the
U.S.A. and are using 40% as a short hand for our "old units" of 40 mg/dl
(milligrams per decilitre). He found that the conversion factor for blood
sugar is 0.05551 to our usual millimoles per litre. Are you in the U.S.A.?

I would be grateful for some clarification of your post. A country and/or
units of measurement would be appreciated.
