Here's the reply I got from the check manufacturer:

Ms. Schlef,

Thank you for your thoughts concerning the practice of breastfeeding. One
thought for you to keep in mind - We produce thousands of boxes of checks a
day. The numbers given to me via e-mails are that there could be "several
thousand" people interested in breastfeeding checks. Unfortunately, that is
not enough to make us run to our production personnel to get a new check
design started. When we market a new check design it will appeal to a large
segment of the population. Having said that, I am not saying that we won't
consider checks with a breastfeeding theme. I am simply saying that we need
time to gauge general interest in a check product before beginning the
production process.

Once again, thank you for your e-mail. I will continue to monitor other
e-mails like yours and pass the information on to our Product Development
Department.
