My "OTC Medications and Breastfeeding: An Update", Pharmacy Times, Nov
1995 lists 13 hemorroidal preparations, by brand name and active
ingredient, as "usually safe to take when breastfeeding". (That's if you
want to quote a source for this information.) If you would like the
specific names, I can e-mail them. I am still looking for a more recent
reference for OTC's. Maybe Tom Hale could find time to write a new
book?
