I'd like to add "health professional endorsement" to the excellent points
made by Katharine West about brand retention and brand loyalty. When the
coupons are handed out by a health professional, endorsement is implied.
The reason that 95% of mothers continue to use the first-ever brand is
because they received their first tin from their trusted physician or nurse.
