Hi All,
I must appoligize that I can't state the source for this, but I
remember reading once that the issue on fair haired/skinned people
having problems with/unable to brestfeed comfortably is
evolution/genetic disproven as these traits would have been
evolved/genetically weeded out to preserve the species. In otherwords,
if those people could not successfully breastfeed as a result of genetic
traits, they would have died out because prior to the 1800s
breastfeeding was the main (only?) way of survival for the human infant.
By the way, I asked my husband if he resented his 'love toys' being
'udders' for over 3 years straight - he said 'That's what they're there
for, no why are you asking?" I told him about the quote from the book,
and he laughed.
