Good grief, did I spell that right? I already deleted the post...
Anyway, I had a thought about fashioning a "mini sling" out of a long strip
of narrow fabric (something in a stretch knit might have enought give to
make adjustments in placement without pinching or slipping) to place around
the the baby's head, above the growth and then around Mom's neck, or pinned
to her shoulder area.... that would support the baby's head without touching
the growth area...then a pillow on mom's lap from the baby's shoulder down
for cradle hold or even use this head sling for football hold, esp. since
football hold helps with latch difficulties...
I was thinking nursing in a sling with a hole cut out for the portion of the
baby's head that cannot tolerate pressure... and then thought mini as an
alternative....
