I checked references for a mom years ago on how long does it take to dry
up after baby(ies) is(are) no longer interested (her baby had weaned
herself 2 months prior to her question of me). I had to hunt high and
low to find an answer of "anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 year." So then I
checked my herbarium for a drying herb - there are several. Sage was the
most readily available herb. My client promptly went out, bought some
sage tea, drank 2 pots-ful 2 days in a row with fabulous success. Sage
will dry milk when used in cooking, too - in soups and turkey dressings,
so be careful if drying is not intended.
