Has anyone heard of this?
A 2-wk old, exclusively breastfed, gaining & growing, has "pumpkin colored" stools with a few yellow seedy bits. Stools are of normal wet consistency, and pretty normal frequency - 1 to 4 a day.
Mom is on Aldomet, vitamins, Colace, and until past few days, also on Zantac.
No one is worried, but we *are* curious. Any ideas?
PS: Wonderful to have seen so many of you at the conference in Nashville, renewing old friendships and putting names with faces.
Willow Ward, RN, IBCLC; back in dreary Detroit, Michigan.
