Hi,
The post about Marie Davis' son's comment about not being able to
read the label on a formula can made me chuckle and think of the Breyer's
Ice Cream ads here in the US.
Two kids reading labels from their ice cream, one is a non named
brand and has all kinds of things kid couldn't pronounce, other is breyers
with just milk, sugar, cream and strawberries... obviously the point was if
you can't read it don't eat it!
How about a breastfeeding campaign on similar grounds? Although to
be honest if I were to break down the components of my own milk I probably
couldn't pronounce many anyway... but since "milk" isn't thought of as
multicomponented (hey it's late I'm allowed to make up words) it would be
great to have a baby with a bottle of Artificial Baby Milk and a big bubble
trying to name the ingredients (or better questioning what's missing) and
then a breastfed baby with a bubble with "Human Milk" side by side....

can you tell it's been a long day?
Anne E. Robb, MAT,
