Wanted to let you all know about some new info just published by the AAP
(American Academy of Pediatrics)
The AAP now has professional education on the Internet via its "electronic
pages. " This month, the Ross Labs Mother's Survey results are in an article
titled "The Resurgence of Breastfeeding in the United States" It compares the
rates of breastfeeding in the hospital and at 6 months from 1989 to 1995. To
access this info:

Choose "professional education", then choose "pediatric electronic pages." It
is the last article on the list. The author is Alan Ryan.

Also, if you can get a copy of the Pediatrics in Review for April, there is a
great article by Drs. Slusser and Powers. "Breastfeeding Update 1:
Immunology, Nutrition, and Advocacy"
