I've been lurking for about a month now, and I've finally decided to
jump in! I'm an LC in a rural area, the only private practice IBCLC in
the entire county, and LACTNET is a terrific link to the rest of the
world for me.
I would like the opportunity to relate my personal experience to the Dr.
who recommended a mother wean because of acne. I have had problems with
acne ever since puberty, and if the rest of my family's experience is
any indication, I should expect the problem to continue until I'm about
50! However, the best skin I've had since I was 13 years old was during
the years I was breastfeeding my children. I wonder what this Dr. would
think if he/she knew I have actually (briefly) considered having more
children in order to experience clear skin again!
