Sharon was looking for research to convince an insurance company to cover
breast pump rental while baby had surgery.
In my experience, an rx from the *pedi* is usually all that it takes!
Since breastmilk isn't available at the pharmacy, the rx covers the means
to provide it.
An rx from the OB seems to be rejected by a number of insurance companies
who feel this is just a convenience item for the mother.
