Jack: I and several others have successfully used breastmilk for treating
sinusitis and chronic sinus infections of undetermined etiology (could have
been bacterial, viral or fungal). Unfortunately, I don't have any
published studies on this. We've applied the brstmlk in several ways. A
few have used atomizer bottles from things like saline mist. Others have
used eye droppers. One woman rigged her waterpik up to give her sinuses a
blast. And, yet another used a hand nasal irrigator similar to an enema
bulb. Most of these were alternated with saline solution flushing of the
sinuses. The important thing is to do it regularly. : ) CHE
