I once thought to make icecream of the many buckets of milk I was freezing for my son. In particular I was making ice cream for the NICU for a July 4 party -- my son was still there --and I figured what better than using the breast milk.
Wrong!!! It tasted terrible. Somehow the breastmilk while still warm tastes a lot different that once it is frozen. The NICU ended up with Peach, and Butter Pecan, from regular milk.

Subject: Ice Cream Social (to lighten the day)
A student of mine gave me a "Happy Book" with a collection of silly
stuff she'd collected. This item was reported to have appeared in a
church publication. I thought it was just up our alley here at LactNet:
"Tuesday at 4:00 P.M., there will be an ice cream social. All ladies
giving milk will please come early."
Now wouldn't that be a rousing good batch of ice cream?!! (Would one add
less sugar, I wonder...)
