Call me a cynic, but I smell a formula-fed rat!
Before you complete any survey by these people, return it and demand to
know WHO they are, and who has paid for this survey. DO NOT COMPLETE IT
without this information. At the very least, you will then know who is
likely to be using this information.
It is quite possible that the company in question is legitimate and one you
would WANT to share that information with. On the other hand....
Remember, whenever you are responding to a survey, you are sharing precious
information about experiences that were important to you. You have a right
to know who is asking and how they are going to use that information.
From a former surveyer in a previous academic life... :-)
PS Any legitimate surveyer would GIVE You that information up front and not
hide it and they would welcome your calls if you have questions. (hence why
I smell a rat)
