Just from personal experience, I have nursed both of my kids in a waterbed,
and they are still alive.  A lot depends on the sturdiness of the mattress,
and basic safety.  If we want to say don't sleep with a baby in a waterbed,
we might as well say, don't take a baby in a car!!!  Despite safety seats,
the statistics for infant death in car seats far excedes the stats of infant
deaths in beds.  We must keep our perspective.
