Thanks to all who e-mailed me about Pierre Robin syndrome. I have felt so
supported and guided by all those letters, and I have tried to reply to
everyone privately. Baby Tessa has the classic symptoms, but chromosome
tests have shown that it can't be PR. The latest decision is that she is
neurologically damaged. I am sure that all the suggestions received for
stimulating sucking and swallowing will help with this baby, so we will keep
working at it. At least she is able to receive breast milk, even if she may
not ever breastFEED.
