One of the women I saw today had a ten week old baby and a *full hand* of
problems: nipple shields, thrush, mastitis, possible low supply, refluxy
baby/?allergy!! She was feeling down (surprise, surprise) and was not
keen to give up the nipple shields. However, I was able to show her how
to apply them much better, by practically everting them and stretching
them over the nipple.
I learnt this technique on Lactnet.
Perhaps others would like to contribute to the theme *The best thing I've
learnt on Lactnet*?
