Apologies to repeat lists or if this has been posted before.
A fellow LC informed me of an article called "Feed Me, I'm Yours" by Meg
Meeker, M.D. in the March/April 1997 issue. She apparently is a mother of 4,
in a private pediatric practice in Traverse City, MI, & teaches pediatric
residents & med students. I have NOT read the article myself, but it
apparently contains info such as BF every 3-4 hrs, that babies must get
vitamin supplements when BF, use low-iron ABM for constipation, and avoiding
highly allergenic foods (list in article) until baby is TWO MONTHS old!!! (I
can hardly believe the last one--surely a typo??!!!).
Anyway, if anyone has it/cares to look it up, their email is
