I know that this bit of common sense would be useless in the face of the
health care providers described in this thread, (and unwarranted if this
infant is healthy!) but *in another circumstance* moms who have plenty of
milk can increase the calorie value by expressing or pumping a bit, letting
the cream rise, then using the cream to add calories.

As for the case described, if the facts are as stated and I were the mother
involved I would RUN, not walk, to the nearest exit and spend my healthcare
dollars ELSEWHERE.
