Hello Everyone,
I was hoping someone might have information regarding Auralgan Otic Sol.
These are ear drops which were prescribed by a doctor for a 3 month old
baby. I am currently trying to help the mom with trying to get the baby to
nurse during the day. Baby will barely nurse during the day, but seems to
nurse well at night. If you have any suggestions that would be great (there
is more going on with this situation which I have not gone into), but I am
actually wondering about the drops. Mom took baby to the doctor to rule out
anything medically (baby was vomitting). Doctor said baby is fine---no ear
infections, etc., but some babies have sensitive nerve endings in the ears,
so the drops will numb the ear drums. This is the story that mom has told
me. She also says the drops do not appear to work. I better mention that
the baby has bouts of screaming during the day----started about one week ago.
Doctor also gave mom drops for gas for the baby. I would like to learn more
about the ear drops if possible.
Thanks
Aloha,
Gloria Thai LLLLeader
