Just because we are lactation professionals does not mean we do not have
another/real life.
When writing letters to anyone whose collection of letters may be
meaningful in changing actions/plans, etc. (such as a TV network or large
department store), we can CHOOSE to use or not use our professional
credentials.
We can always write as CONCERNED CITIZENS (sorry, I am not shouting, just
getting a bit worked up here) or as mothers relating to [the TV character,
or whatever/whomever] and the like.
If you feel your letter will represent others more effectively, write as a
citizen/program viewer, etc.
If you feel your credentials will HELP, use them.
