Go Anne go! I thought every word was true and YES, sometimes the truth
does hurt. But, remember..."If you think education is expensive, try
ignorance." There are some outstanding sources to avail oneself of and
many excellent conferences. CERP sessions at conferences like the
LLLI-ACOG-AAP Physician's Bf seminar and the LLLI international conferences
are great for this concentrated dose of continuing ed. The simple premise
is that we must make bf a priority, not just a "nice thing to do." That
means MDs, RNs, DCs and all the other professionals who deal with moms
(besides IBCLCs who I assume are all as obsessed about bf lit as I).
